This is Holmer Green’s first of three windmills built in three separate parts of the village. Built by a High Wycombe man, a Mr Kingdom in 1696. We do not know when it fell into disuse, certainly it had been replaced by another close to Copners by c1800. Today only the miller’s cottage survives. Approximately ten acres of land went with the mill running alongside Watchet Lane called Flowery Meadow’.
